01What is collected

Zero data is collected. There are no user accounts, no sign-in screens, no email logging, no device identifiers, no crash reporting SDKs, and no telemetry services. There is no remote backend server to accept incoming data.

02Where your work lives

All garden plans, microclimate surveys, cost estimates, care schedules, and user-attached photographs are written directly to the app’s encrypted private sandbox on your local device. Deleting the app removes all stored data permanently.

03Network access & offline mode

The plant catalogue, agronomic validation rules, statutory setbacks, climate datasets, and 3D visual assets ship completely inside the binary. The app operates entirely offline and makes zero network requests during usage.

04Permissions & purpose

• Camera — Used strictly for real-time AR placement and site photos. Camera frames are processed in-memory and never recorded or transmitted.
• Photos & Files — Required only when importing site plan underlays or saving exported PDF plans.
• Notifications — Local device reminders for care calendar tasks. No push server is used.
• Location — Never requested. Climate zone selection is manual or selected from bundled regional tables.

05Data export & sharing

Exporting site plans, take-off estimates, or project backups relies strictly on your device's native system share sheet. Data leaves the app only upon explicit user action and is delivered strictly to the destination application you select.

06On-device security

• Biometric Lock — Optional local App Lock using Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode.
• Privacy Mode — Instant toggle to blur or mask financial estimates when displaying screens to clients or third parties.
• Atomic File System — Writes use atomic temporary flush & rename patterns to prevent corruption.
• Snapshot Recovery — Automatic local rollbacks created before destructive actions.

07Children & privacy compliance

GardenCraft complies fully with COPPA, GDPR, and global child safety standards. Because there are no accounts, no public messaging, no user-generated content feeds, and no advertising trackers, the app is completely safe for all age groups.

Calculations provided by the app (shade tracking, growth predictions, cost estimates) are indicative planning aids. They do not substitute for certified structural engineering, professional surveying, or legal boundary verification.
